All vehicle rentals in Gorleston are governed by a Rental Agreement provided at the time of booking or vehicle pick-up. 4. Car Pickup and Drop-off
- At the time of collection, it is important to conduct a thorough inspection of the vehicle and promptly report any pre-existing damage. A vehicle condition report will be completed and signed by both parties. Please return the vehicle in the same condition it was collected, accounting for normal wear and tear. Any new damage will be evaluated and may result in additional charges. You will be responsible for any damage or loss up to the excess amount unless further insurance is purchased. Any damage resulting from negligence, misuse, or violation of these Terms remains your responsibility, regardless of insurance coverage.
6. Modifications and Cancellations
Cancellation and amendment policies depend on your booking type and the notice period provided. For detailed information, please consult your booking confirmation or Rental Agreement. Be aware that late cancellations or failure to show up may incur additional charges.
7. Restricted Activities
Prohibited Vehicle Uses:
- Use of the vehicle for illegal activities or purposes is strictly prohibited. Engaging in racing, rallying, off-roading, or any activities that pose a risk is not allowed. Transporting hazardous materials or substances is forbidden. Sub-letting the vehicle or permitting unauthorized drivers is not permitted. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is unacceptable. The vehicle must only be used for its intended purpose. Adhering to passenger and weight limits is required. Driving beyond the agreed geographical boundaries without prior authorization is not allowed.
Breach of these terms may lead to rental termination and extra fees.
8. Liability Limitations
To the fullest extent allowed by English and Welsh law, Car Hire Gorleston is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business, resulting from your use of our services. Our liability for any claim will not exceed the total amount you paid for the rental in the past 12 months. This limitation does not apply to cases of negligence leading to death or personal injury, or to instances of fraud.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be handled exclusively by the courts in this jurisdiction.
